After a crazy battle with the pawns, the team seemed to be arguing quite a bit on the way back from it to the command center. The battle took far too long, and all of them were a bit weary from the battle, though they weren't battered and bruised.

Amy had almost had enough of the bickering, to be honest, but she kept her mouth shut and kept walking towards the command center.

They would've simply teleported, but the fact was that for some reason none of them had really thought about it in the midst of all the bickering.

Most of the bickering you could blame on Knuckles. Ever after some time being on the team, he hasn't been getting along with any of them, especially Amelie. He's been disobeying orders, charging ahead when he shouldn't, just being extremely uncooperative. It's a wonder he hasn't gotten any of them killed.

Right now he was still arguing with most of the others.

"For the last time, I was handling it fine!"

Tails has tried to reason with Knuckles and try to be peacemaker, but so far he hasn't had much success.

"Knuckles you almost got blasted. You really need to be more careful."

"Oh, certainly! All we have to do is stand back and let the mighty Red Guardian beat everything to death with his indestructible head. I am sure that the next time Wolf shows up he will gladly stand still and let you beat him silly!"

She mad?

She mad.

She finally has enough of it and turns around, walking backwards.

"Stop it!" She clenches a fist. "Maybe it was partially Knuckles' fault for it taking so long, but the fact remains we aren't working as a team no matter how you slice it." She seemed to be saying this at everyone. "And I just got a message from Ciel. She's waiting for us at the command center. So can't we make the rest of the trip silently?"

Knuckles was about to yell at Amelie back but Amy's yelling made him stop.

"Whatever."

He didn't really care. After all, he only agreed to become a ranger because he felt he had no choice. If he didn't, Robotnik and his robots would go after him and his family.

Tails sighed.

"Finally."

He was honestly starting to get a headache from all the yelling.

...oh dear.

Amelie nods, downcast.

Satisfied, Amy turns around and continues leading to the command center.

She'd probably have to talk to Amelie later or something. That might've been a bit too forceful, even for Amy.

Ciel sighed.

"They still aren't working well as a team. I sent a message to Amy asking all of them to come over. There's got to be something we can do about this."

"They don't even have the benefit of being close friends or at least classmates at times," muttered Jake. "Even if that's just a bit of a running gag at this point. Thoughts?"

"... There's only one way to do it, I think." She tapped on the desk a few times with her fingers. "I think the only way they're going to learn how teamwork will help them... is if they get a lesson in it. Maybe see how another team works." But how would they do that?

"I could call in a few favors but a lot of Rangers are busy. They might drop in though I dunno..." Said Jake, folding his arms in thought.

The room went silent for a moment, before Ciel had a crazy thought.

"... What if we gave them the lesson?" But Ciel was largely unable to stay morphed for long with the Guardian powers... and she wasn't about to take any of the powers away from the Rangers to show the lesson, either.

"Don't you have that thing that lets you call on past Rangers' powers?" Maybe she'd be more compatible with those...

"I do... but engineering an opponent that would be good for us to fight without putting strain on anyone..."

"I'm sure by the time they come back and we talk to them there'll be another attack on the city..." As strange as that was to consider. "He only sent pawns that time. No monster yet... don't villains tend to send a monster after a small attack like that?"

"They should. If they're keeping to trend. My early days was a non-stop boss rush," admitted Jake.

And without further warning, the door to the command center burst open and Amy walked in... before slumping in a chair.

Yyyyyeah, she was tired in more than one way.

Amelie listlessly pats Amy on the shoulder as she passes by before slumping in a chair herself.

She's tired too.

As usual, Knuckles just stands by the table with his arms crossed. He's trying not to lean on the chair even though he's tired too.

He tries to avoid eye contact with anyone else in the room.

Tails meanwhile slumps into his chair so fast, he accidentally smacks his head against the table.

"Ow..."

He sits back up straight before leaning back.

"So."

Pretty short beginning, for Ciel, as she regards the entire team. "You're still having trouble adjusting to working as a team. That's understandable, considering at least one of you isn't accustomed to doing this kind of thing." Yeah, she meant Knuckles, but kind of Amelie as well. But she wasn't going to name names, or make this into the blame game.

"However, the fact remains that you must work together as a team. No one Ranger is more important than the rest. You must all learn to work as one if you're going to succeed against Robotnik's forces."

She turns around. "So, we've come up with a solution, if temporary, to the problem. We are going to demonstrate what happens when you work together as a team, and how there is no one 'most important' person in the team."

And at that, the alarms went off, signifying an attack.

"...Looks like the Doctor doesn't fail with launching more attacks."

"There's probably more foot soldiers with them too. They never work far from one another unless someone's being overconfident." Added Jake.

"So.... you're going to morph? But didn't you say you weren't able to stay morphed for long?" Amy worried a little for Ciel.

"Are you sure about this? If you can't stay morphed, you'll be put in danger."

Oh no, oh no, oh noooo

Amelie doesn't want this to happen! Definitely not!

"I am against any plan that puts Ciel in danger! You're very important, you know!"

She smiles warmly at the group.

"I'm more than capable, I assure you. Just because I'm unable to use the Guardian powers, does not mean there's no power I can use. You see... there's a wide range of them I can utilize, if need be."

She looks over to Jake. "You don't mind, right?" She had one particular power in mind that she was sure she could use. It was basic, sure, but that's partially what made her so sure she could do it...

"It's time. Let's go." She prepared to teleport the group, and Jake, and herself, to where the attack was taking place.

[Right before this...]

"Ha!" Robotnik turns away from the telescope, and points to more pawns. "They're on the ropes, and won't be able to stand another attack! Now go, my pawns, and wreak all the havoc you want on the city! Leave no building standing! Ohohoohohohohohoh~!"

Quite a few pawns were awaiting the group to appear in the open plain. Many small, a few large, it almost looked like it was an ambush waiting to happen.

Once everyone teleported in, Ciel tilted her head. "I thought there'd be a monster... well, I guess this will do."

She turned to Jake. "Shall we?" He needed to toss her what she'd need to morph.

"Whelp, overconfidence is a killer after all." Tossing her the Legendary Morpher and a Ranger Key, he held out his own Gosei Morpher.

"It's Morphin Time! Go Go Megaforce!"

She could morph into Legendary Green and then the key that Jake threw to her, but she wouldn't need it.

She caught both, and then inserted the key into the Legendary Morpher. "Legendary Ranger Mode: Mighty Morphin'!" She twisted it. "It's Morphin' Time!"

In a flash of light, she appeared in the Mighty Morphin' Pink Ranger suit, and posed.

"Mighty Morphin' Pink!"

Knuckles raises an eyebrow, but doesn't really say anything. He kinda had a feeling she would use pink.

Tails meanwhile gets super excited when he sees the suit.

"Mighty Morphin Pink. The original pink ranger!"

He can barely stop himself from jumping up and down he's so happy.

Oh no she's cute

"Whoa!" Another pink ranger suit! That's awesome!

"Well, lets get to it." Drawing his blaster, Jake showered the front of the row before charging in.
